We are preparing for our 17th Primary Vinyasa Teacher Training (200 hours) to begin.  It's an honor to be considered as your Registered Yoga School, so thank you for reaching out to us about Karma Yoga's teacher training program. Here are some of the questions I am most commonly asked:

1. What is the start date of the program? 
We will begin teacher training again in March 2024. 
2. What is the duration of the program?
This is a comprehensive 200-hour program that takes around 6 months to complete. As we move into the virtual space, this will be a combination of in-person and virtual training. You will enjoy all the benefits of the yoga community, but with a slightly more flexible schedule. When we meet in person, it will be on weekends, generally one weekday evening for practice, and then Saturday through Sunday, with a few exceptions. As part of your teacher training, you are given flex classes per month (or the opportunity for a reduced monthly unlimited) to use at the studio in any way you wish so that you can stay in your own personal practice, even as you are learning through teacher training. 
3. What is the cost of the program?
Your early-bird tuition investment is $2800, and this covers the cost of all materials, books, and supplies, as well as special presentations, and flex classes to be used at the studio as you desire. Early-bird pricing is effective from now until February 14. The total investment in yoga teacher training is $3000 beginning in mid-February.
4. How do I sign up? 
Easy! Once you're ready to join us on your yoga teacher training journey, a non-refundable deposit of $250 holds your spot in the training and locks in one of the rates shown in question (Please email [email protected] to arrange for application and registration paperwork.) Deposit link above.
5. What is covered in the Yoga Teacher Training?
Whether you are hoping to teach classes or deepen your yoga knowledge and practice, this program is a deeply transformative experience. We will dive into the history and philosophy of yoga, the physical and energetic anatomies of the human body, the yoga poses and variety of physical practice styles, meditation, breathwork, the impact your yoga practice has on your body/brain/emotions, and the cultural impact yoga is making on the world. If you have special questions or areas of interest, we want to cover that too! That's the beautiful part of teacher training. Upon completion of all requirements and graduation from this course, you will be eligible to register with the Yoga Alliance (yoga's professional organization), which will make you a Registered Yoga Teacher. This designation is an additional credential on top of your graduation certificate that allows you to be considered for employment at yoga studios and gyms and offers resources for those who are getting started with group or private yoga session businesses. 
6. What if I already hold a 200-hour certification or comparable certification, but want to deepen my knowledge of yoga?
So exciting, we are offering a schedule and pricing option for those who do not wish to teach professionally, or already have completed their 200-hour from another yoga school. If this is you, please reach out to Megan directly at 813-489-9644 to discuss this special arrangement.
7. Training weekends will include a virtual or in person assignment between 6-9pm Friday, Saturday 10:30am to 5pm and Sunday 10:30am to 4:30pm unless otherwise noted. Practice at the studio in between training weekends is strongly encouraged.

8. Are payment plans available?

Option 1:
Monthly option:
6 monthly payments
Done through automatic draft, 6 equal payments of (includes a service fee, what the card company charges).  Due on the 15th of every month until payment is fulfilled,  done through electronic draft.

Option 2:
Twice monthly payments starting on the first weekend of yoga teacher training, payments on the 1st and the 15th of every month until the total is fulfilled, 12 equal payments (includes service fee) all done through EFT draft, like a membership on the above dates.

Option 3:  Paid in Full, cost $2800 (due is $2550)
